Does your partner’s comments always focus on your flaws or shortcomings? Does it become hard to feel good about yourself? A yes means things are not right. Constructive feedback is normal, but persistent criticism that damages your self-esteem can be a sign of trouble.
2. You Feel Isolated
A healthy relationship brings connection, not distance. If you’re pulling away from friends, family, or activities you once loved, something’s off. Isolation often stems from a partner's controlling behavior or discouragement of your social life. Over time, this can leave you feeling cut off and alone—something no healthy relationship should ever cause.
